DeForest man Trevor Klock to be honored in today’s Packer game by Operation Fan Mail | News

MADISON (WKOW) — DeForest Chief Warrant Officer 2 Trevor Klock is the winner of today’s Packer Game Fan Mail Operation!

Operation Fan Mail is a Green Bay Packers and WPS Health Solutions program that recognizes military families and veterans at every Packer home game.

As part of the Fan Mail operation, Klock and his family will receive four tickets to the game and a $150 Packers Pro Shop gift card courtesy of WPS Health Solutions. They will also be recognized on video boards during pre-game activities.

A native of Sun Prairie, Wis., Klock served in the Army Reserve from 2004 to 2007, was on active duty from 2007 to 2010 and has served in the Army National Guard since 2014.

After completing his military service in 2010 — serving as an infantryman at Fort Hood Hood, Texas, then deploying to Afghanistan as a sniper team leader — Klock realized that the military missed him and joined the Wisconsin National Guard, moving his family to Alabama to attend flight school. They returned to Wisconsin in 2017 and Klock now flies a Black Hawk helicopter with a Madison-based aviation unit.

Anyone can submit a 500-word essay to Operation Fan Mail on why a particular family — a family with a member who is a veteran or on active duty — should be honored that year. Since the beginning of the program, 147 individuals, families or groups have been recognized.

If you would like to nominate someone, you can send your essay to Operation Fan Mail, PO Box 10628, Green Bay, WI, 54307-0628 or online at
