Entebbe Navigators Soccer Academy receives sports equipment from USA

For a long time, Entebbe Navigators Soccer Academy has had a symbiotic relationship with the parent subsidiary; New England Navigators Soccer Academy in Boston Massachusetts in the United States of America (USA).

This relationship dates back to 2014 when the Entebbe Navigators Football Academy was established by Duncan Kasibante, the manager alongside other personalities.

Along the way, Entebbe Navigators continued to receive support from the American academy.

The latest donation included an assortment of sports equipment ranging from jerseys, soccer balls, socks, football boots to face masks.

There were five sets of jerseys, 15 soccer balls, three sets of socks, 70 pairs of soccer balls and 20 face masks.

The donated items were delivered by Academy Ambassador Johanz William Tusiime.

Tusiime, while on a brief vacation in Uganda, officially handed over the items to the management of Entebbe Navigators Football Academy, well represented by General Coordinator and Head of Coaching Department, Yasa Lukuba.

The handover ceremony was held at the Fault Free Tours and Safaris Motel along Kiwafu Road (Plot 109) in the Municipality of Entebbe (Division B) on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

Also present were players, parents and other members of the academy.

“I encourage the kids attached to the Entebbe Navigators Football Academy to stay focused, hardworking and determined in order to reap big in the future. Donating this sports gear is to help your journey,” noted Tusiime in a brief speech.

In appreciation, Lukuba congratulated the New England Navigator team for the generosity and care provided with the donation to the Entebbe Navigator Academy.

Lukuba expressed his joy at the support still given to the academy as he pledged to continue to excel in the various competitions involved.

“Entebbe Navigators Soccer Academy is honored by this support from New England Navigators, friends and supporters. We are committed to continuing to work hard as we strive for excellence,” noted Lukuba .

The Entebbe Navigators Soccer Academy is currently located at Entebbe Comprehensive Secondary School and caters for children aged 4-18.
