For nearly 100 years, LOWA has been manufacturing premium quality outdoor boots and footwear. Today, they produce three million pairs of shoes per year and are the leading manufacturer in several European countries, including Germany, Switzerland and Austria. While at Outdoor Retailer, Snowshoe Magazine learned about some of the latest news and innovations from LOWA.

One of their latest hiking boots, the Taurus Pro GTX Mid, is a great lightweight boot for hiking, adventure and, of course, snowshoeing. In addition, this boot is versatile and ideal for beginners in the outdoor space.

Even though these boots are built to last, you can extend the life of your boots even more with LOWA’s repair and resoling service, performed by their master shoemakers at their factory in Germany.
