Going to the Bucks’ opener? Here’s what to expect


MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Bucks are back after winning the 2021 NBA Championship.

The Bucks take on the Brooklyn Nets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Fiserv Forum. They will commemorate their championship victory on opening night with a ring ceremony and banner unveiling before kick-off.

The doors of the Fiserv Forum will open at 5 p.m.

Bucks owners, players, coaches and front office staff will receive their 2021 NBA Championship rings during a pre-game ceremony at 5:45 p.m. on the grounds of the Fiserv Forum. Following the ring ceremony, the 2021 Bucks NBA Championship banner will be unveiled in the west rafters of the Fiserv Forum.

Former Bucks TV play-by-play announcer Jim Paschke will serve as emcee. NBA commissioner Adam Silver is also expected to attend and deliver remarks.

Fans with tickets to the game who would like to see the ring ceremony and banner unveiling are encouraged to arrive early and be seated at 5:45 pm The first 10,000 fans to attend Tuesday’s game will receive also a commemorative championship banner presented by Klement’s Sausage.

The Deer District will also be hosting an outdoor vigil night, presented by the Bucks. A large screen installed at the north end of the square. The doors to the Deer District Watch Party will open at 5 p.m.
