Don’t think of this upcoming long weekend as your last hoorah for the summer.
Consider it the first cheers of a New Jersey high school football season that unfolds in all its glory over a four-day span beginning Thursday.
Of course, the season actually started last week, but that was an abbreviated schedule. Everyone is getting down to business this week, as is NJ.com offering three live streams that won’t cost you a dime. Save it for your hot dogs and ice cream.
There will be a free game offered on Thursday, another Friday, and then the highlight stream of this package, the 1 p.m. Top 20 game on Saturday between No. 7 DePaul (0-0) and No. 5 St. Joseph de Montvale (0-1), who will be looking to rebound from their 42-21 loss last weekend to the mighty Good Counsel of Maryland. As if the live, free football matches weren’t enough, know that the incomparable Dan Long will be on call for every game.
Just hit the “WATCH” link a few minutes before each scheduled game, sit back and enjoy.
