Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3 Remasters Reportedly In The Works

Konami is rumored to be remastering three of its iconic Games from Solid metal gear series, according to a famous and accurate leaker.

Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 and 3 are about to get a facelift, with the classic stealth game being transformed into updated versions for the latest and greatest gaming consoles as well as PC gamers.

The leaker, who goes by the name of Dusk Golem, or Aesthetic Gamer, revealed to Resetera that Konami is set to revive its classic games for new players in the near future.

As of now, the latest version of the game was released in 2004 on the iconic GameCube, meaning if old enough the game could order its own drink from the local liquor!

The news of the remastered versions will delight a core group of gamers who will get a huge nostalgia boost by being able to log on and play the classic franchise all over again from the start.

However, it will also target a new audience of gamers, who will be able to get a first look at classic games and see what more veteran gamers gushed about as they reminisce about their early days on the sticks.

Dusk Golem are a major leaker in the gaming industry, holding an impressive track record for their accuracy, so this certainly seems like a looker.

They were right to call things recently, like Resident Evil Village, the fantastic new enemies and the game’s storyline. On top of that, screenshots of a Silent Hill reboot have been shared by the leaker, which saw them hit with a copyright strike, implying they were the real deal.

We don’t wanna raise our hopes too a lot so soon, but given the source, it’s hard not to… As the info leaked, here’s what they had to say: is Metal Gear Solid 1-3 getting new remasters, slated for everything, including Steam and consoles.

Metal Gear Solid was an OG GOAT

“The plan is new remastered versions of Metal Gear Solid 1-3, you can buy them separately, but if you buy them together as a collection, get the MSX versions of Metal Gear 1 + 2 as well.

“It’s been confirmed to me more than once by more than one reliable source, and I wasn’t going to divulge it, but it looks like Andy decided to talk about it already, but that’s what I was referring to here. It’s coming to Steam, but also to consoles.

Wow, those are some major claims and we just can’t wait to hear more!
