NFL world reacts to new Panthers uniforms in action

The Carolina Panthers face off Atlanta Falcons Thursday Night Football, and the NFL world took notice of the Panthers’ new “blackout” uniforms on display for the game.

carolina revealed the uniforms earlier this week, which got a lot of attention. Once they were on display during Thursday night’s game, even more people took notice.

It’s an extremely clean look for the Panthers, showing off an almost completely blacked out uniform with accents of Carolina Blue and a matte black helmet (which can be seen in this Panthers highlight).

These jerseys may spark some excitement among Panthers fans, who haven’t had much to cheer about so far this season.

They currently sit just 2-7 on the season and sit in last place in a struggling NFC South division.

The Falcons and Panthers met just two weeks ago in a wild affair that resulted in a 37-34 overtime win for Atlanta.

Carolina notoriously had a real chance to win this game in regulation before the Panthers’ star receiver DJ Moore received a penalty for taking his helmet off after scoring a last-second touchdown.

This led to a longer extra run attempt for Panthers kicker Eddy Piñeiro to potentially win the game, which he would go on to miss.

Carolina is looking to redeem themselves for this game in style Thursday with their new uniforms that seem to be a hit in the NFL world.
