Moncler, the luxury outerwear brand with Alpine roots, has a penchant for collaboration. This is best summed up in his Moncler Genius project, which uses renowned designers to give Moncler outerwear their turn. Instead of a traditional fashion designer, Moncler has confirmed a collaboration with former Apple icon (and the man behind design company LoveFrom) Sir Jony Ive. While details on the collaboration are scarce at this time, it is believed the pair will blend Moncler clothing with Ive’s world-famous aesthetic (he made help design the iPod and iPhone), focusing on sustainability. While waiting for more news on the upcoming collection, take a look at today’s gear updates, including the vintage watch boutique curated by J.Crew and the custom eyewear designed to fit perfectly, thanks to your iPhone’s selfie camera. It’s today in Gear.

Give the gift of better health with InsideTracker’s data-driven nutrition solutions.

Founded by aging and biometric experts at Harvard, MIT and Tufts, InsideTracker puts data at the center of its programs, designed to help people eat better, live longer, and understand their bodies better. This includes InsideTracker’s Ultimate Plan, which tracks 43 biomarkers in total, and InnerAge 2.0, which uses a data-driven model to calculate an individual’s “biological age”.

Could your next vintage watch purchase drop at … J.Crew?

By partnering with Analog: Shift, J.Crew is expanding its watch offering by adding a suite of vintage watches, with a rotating selection of some really impressive names (think Omega, Rolex, Movado, and Longines). The watches were also dropped alongside a collection of co-branded Analog: Shift baseball caps.

Finally, Tudor has its latest diving watch, the Pelagos FXD Marine Nationale.

Originally designed for combat swimmers in the French Navy, the Pelagos is Tudor’s most impressive diver’s watch on this side of the cult Black Bay. The Pelagos FXD Marine Nationale de Tudor is a revival of the original. It features water resistance to 200m, a thinner 42mm case with a “countdown” bezel, a luminous dial and, frustratingly, a case with fixed lugs (which means, like the NATO, that it can only accommodate straps passing through things like fabric or rubber).

Bike bags with Visi-Hemp, the most reflective hemp fabric in the world.

Inspired by the light spots that line the rooftops of the nearest town, Po Campo’s “City Lights” bags, ranging from mini bags to rucksacks, are designed to ride day or night. While we love the easy access provided by a series of side pockets and magnetic Fidlock buckles, we are impressed with the use of Visi-Hemp material, the first of its kind, providing reflective visibility on the road by putting the emphasis on sustainable manufacturing.

Smith’s new glasses offer a one-of-a-kind custom fit, thanks to your iPhone’s selfie camera.

Smith decided to make sure everyone branded gear designed for the exact dimensions of their face with the introduction of the I / O Mag Imprint 3D mask. After scanning your face with a proprietary Smith app (using only your phone’s selfie camera), Smith uses the data to 3D print an eyeglass frame sculpted to the exact dimensions of your face. Two weeks later, your glasses should arrive at your doorstep.
