Week three of the high school football playoffs in Pennsylvania featured more high-profile individual performances.

But who was the best of the group?

Payton Wehner, QB, Central Catholic — Wehner had 332 yards — 257 passes, 75 rushing — and two touchdowns in a 35-21 loss to North Allegheny.

Karson Kiesewetter, QB, Bishop Guilfoyle — Kiesewetter had 314 yards — 230 rushing, 84 passing — and five touchdowns in a 56-35 win over Penns Valley.

Logan Kushner, QB, North Allegheny — Kushner had 314 yards — 184 rushing, 130 passing — and three touchdowns in a 35-21 win over Central Catholic.

Zach Gordon, QB, Danville— Gordon had 300 yards — 255 passing, 45 rushing — and five touchdowns in a 41-20 win over Loyalsock.

Jackson Romig, QB, Penns Valley— Romig passed for 259 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-35 loss to Bishop Guilfoyle.

Jason Cross, QB, Bishop Canevin — Cross threw for 258 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another in a 49-21 win over Shady Side.

Tamlin Ferguson, QB, Allentown Central Catholic — Ferguson passed for 251 yards in a 38-31 win over Jersey Shore.

Jeff Hoenstine, QB, Central — Hoenstine had 246 yards – 219 passes, 27 rushing – four touchdowns in a 35-6 win over Clearfield.

Ben Moore, QB, McDowell— Moore passed for 238 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score in a 57-50 triple-overtime loss to State College.

Hayden Johnson, QB, Manheim Tonwship — Johnson had 230 yards — 132 passes, 98 rushing — and two touchdowns in a 42-7 win over Hempfield.

Alex Erby, QB, Steel-High — Erby threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns in a 37-7 win over Winder.

Brycen Armold, RB, Manheim Central — Armold rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-6 win over Lampeter-Strasburg.

Hunter Hohman, QB, Grove City — Homan had 208 yards — 150 passes, 58 rushing — and four touchdowns in a 42-23 win over Slippery Rock.

Jalen Wagner, RB, Reynolds — Wagner rushed for 264 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-14 win over Eisenhower.

Stone Saunders, QB, Bishop McDevitt— Saunders threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns in a 47-3 win over Twin Valley.

Abou Kamara, RB, Interboro — Kamara had 255 yards — 154 rushing, 101 receiving — and two touchdowns in a 33-21 loss to Bonner-Prendie.

Sam Steffey, RB, Cocalico — Steffey rushed for 251 yards and three touchdowns in a 32-8 win over Solanco.

Khalon Simmons, RB, Meadville — Simmons rushed for 236 yards and three touchdowns in a 27-14 win over Juniata.

Mahkai Hopkins, RB, Harrisburg — Hopkins rushed for 231 yards and two touchdowns in a 44-7 win over Central York.

Cade Christopher, RB, Northwestern Lehigh – Christopher rushed for 207 yards and a touchdown in a 34-14 win over North Schuylkill.

Tiqwai Hayes, RB, Aliquippa — Hayes rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-7 win over McKeesport.

Ronald Burnette, RB, Steel-High – Burnette rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns in a 37-7 win over Windber.

Anthony Crawford, RB, Strath Haven — Crawford rushed for 197 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-27 loss to West Chester Rustin.

Hadyn Packer, RB, Jersey Shore — Packer had 187 yards — 149 rushing, 38 receiving — and two touchdowns in a 38-31 loss to Allentown Central Catholic.

Donald Barksdale, RB, Steel Valley — Barksdale rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns in a 32-17 win over Neshannock.

Noah Schultz, RB, Crestwood — Schultz rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns in a 12-7 win over Valley View.

Richie Karstien, RB, Exeter Township — Karstien rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown in a 21-7 win over Northern.

Charlie McIntyre, RB, Wyomissing- McIntyre rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns in a 63-7 win over West Perry.

Artis Simmons, RB, McDowell— Simmons had 158 yards — 109 rushing, 49 receiving — and a touchdown in a 57-50 triple-overtime loss to State College.

Kyle Williams, RB, Harrisburg — Williams rushed for 156 yards and three touchdowns in a 44-7 win over Central York.

Matt Kramer, RB, Wyomissing — Kramer rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns in a 63-7 win over West Perry.

Marquese Williams, RB, Bishop McDevitt — Williams rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns in a 47-3 win over Twin Valley.

D’Antae Sheffey, RB, State College – Sheffey rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns in a 57-50 triple-overtime win over McDowell.

Trey Tremba, AR, Parkland — Tremba had 148 yards — 114 rushing, 34 receiving — and three touchdowns in a 35-10 win over Bethlehem Freedom.

Jason Bernard, RB, Garnet Valley — Bernard rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown in a 28-17 win over Downingtown East.

Antonio Laure, RB, Rochester — Laure rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns in an 18-16 loss to Union.

Luke Hilyard, RB, Avonworth – Hilyard rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-0 win over Shady Side on Friday.

Declan Clancy, RB, Manheim Township — Clancy rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-7 win over Hempfield.

Caiden Shaffer, RB, Allentown Central Catholic — Shaffer had 113 yards — 94 rushing, 19 receiving — and three touchdowns in a 38-31 win over Jersey Shore.

Joey Schlaffer, TE, Exeter Township — Schlaffer caught six passes for 120 yards and a touchdown in a 21-7 win over Northern.

Tyshawn Russell, WR, Bishop McDevitt — Russell caught five passes for 157 yards and three touchdowns in a 47-3 win over Twin Valley.

Carson Persing, WR, Danville — Persing caught five passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-20 win over Loyalsock.

Eli Ligenfelter, WR, Center — Ligenfelter caught seven passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-6 win over Clearfield.

Xavier Nelson, ATH, Bishop Canevin — Nelson caught a 52-yard touchdown and an 81-yard touchdown, and also returned an interception for the score in a 49-21 win over South Side.

Terrell Reynolds, DE, Harrisburg — Reynolds had three sacks in a 44-7 win over Central York.

Nick Palumbo, DB, Mannheim Township — Palumbo had three interceptions, including one returning 40 yards for a touchdown, in a 42-7 win over Hempfield.

Wyomissing Offensive Line — This is the second time the big guys have made this list. This time – J’Ven Williams, Pacen Ziegler, Cooper Young, Jack Gartner and Isaac Focht – helped lead the way for over 600 yards in a 63-7 District 3 title win over West Perry.
